ORVILLE STODDART A.K.A PHAZE KRYME

Jamaican born Orville Stoddart a.k.a. Phaze Kryme is not just a recording artiste but also the president and CEO of his own Triple ‘L’ Records company which was founded in the United States of America in 2003.
He began his musical career as a gangster reggae rapper in the streets of Southside, Jamaica, Queens in New York. To further his career, Phaze Kryme moved back and forth between Queens and Brooklyn, where his unique style was recognised. He soon took off and began to grow nationwide.
While in New York, he recorded eight songs with Shawn Duncan for their group called Sic-Wit-It. His name back then was Tricky Nicky, and his partner was Smokey. They released the single ‘High Grade’ that was featured on a major album featuring Vybz Kartel and hip-hop artistes from Los Angeles and New York City.

The group performed at New Hampton College in Long Island, New York and Labour Day Parade in Brooklyn, New York where they were well received. Phaze Kryme then started managing not only his own productions, but took on the job of managing and producing other promising artistes.
Phaze Kryme, having been raised in the war torn areas of Jones and Trench Town, later migrated to New York, only to find out that the same crime, hatred, games, guns and madness existed there as well.
He had to do what was needed to survive, all the time honing his music everywhere he went. After many highs and lows, Phaze Kryme returned to his beloved homeland to try to bring healing to his community through his belief in the music within his soul and the music that always sustained his community.

Phaze Kryme is what he puts out, from in your face music to heartstrings and violin love songs. Mr. Stoddart is the picture of diversity. He gathered his crew of artistes and a few dedicated friends to bit-by-bit build Triple ‘L’ Records with nothing but his belief in the music and the faith of a man with a mission.
Growing up with big name hip hop artistes the likes of 50 Cent and Jah Rule, among others, Phaze Kryme pours out what he sees and lived in New York, the street life of a gangster, a hardcore lover and a father who will do anything to make his son and daughter proud. He was incarcerated there before returning to Jamaica.

As a professional businessman, producer, writer, performer and president of his own company, he stands for giving back and bringing back the children tools of creativity and hope. He stands for love, loyalty and life through faith. At the first anniversary of Triple ‘L’ Records, the company recognized and awarded over 30 community builders such as teachers, principal and pastors for their outstanding services to the community in a number of disciplines. This is consistent with the framework of the company’s intent of continuous community building and development, thereby simultaneously promoting goodwill.

Since late 2007, the company and its artistes have been on numerous radio interviews disseminating their production and work in progress. Triple ‘L’ Records is completing its first compilation featuring its entire artistes among others on a compilation 5 series track. In addition, the company has just produced its first medley video featuring Triple ‘L’ Records artistes Mighty Curu, Nate Mantana, Vociey Versa, Spugy B, Rich Mice, Izzimie and Romona.
